WHY CHOOSE DENTAL VENEERS?

Why Choose Dental Veneers?

Discover why Dental Veneers clear aligners are the preferred choice for straightening teeth discreetly and achieving the smile you've always wanted.

Beauty

Dramatic, Long-Lasting Transformation

Porcelain veneers can transform the appearance of your smile in a way that is both striking and durable — with results that typically last ten years or more with proper care.

Strength

Stain-Resistant Material

Unlike natural enamel, dental porcelain is highly resistant to staining from food, drink, and lifestyle factors — keeping your smile looking bright and consistent for longer.

Safety

Natural Light Reflection

High-quality dental porcelain mimics the way natural tooth enamel reflects light, giving veneers an authenticity that is difficult to distinguish from your own teeth.

Durability

Corrects Multiple Issues at Once

Veneers can simultaneously address colour, shape, size, and minor alignment concerns — making them one of the most comprehensive cosmetic treatments available in a single course.

Personalised Care

Conservative Preparation

Modern veneer preparation techniques are designed to remove as little natural tooth structure as possible, preserving the health and integrity of the underlying tooth.

Quick Recovery

Fully Custom-Designed

Each veneer is individually crafted to complement your facial features, skin tone, and smile line — ensuring the final result is uniquely and proportionately yours.

UNDERSTANDING DENTAL VENEERS

What Are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are wafer-thin shells of porcelain that are bonded to the front surface of your teeth, completely transforming their appearance. They can be used to address a wide range of cosmetic concerns — from deep discolouration and chips to uneven shapes, minor misalignment, and gaps — creating a uniform, polished smile that looks completely natural.

Unlike composite bonding, porcelain veneers are crafted in a dental laboratory to exacting specifications, meaning every shade, shape, and surface finish is designed with precision. Patients from across Hilton, Etwall, and the wider Derby area choose veneers when they want a long-lasting, high-definition result that goes beyond what chair-side treatments alone can achieve.

Got Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions About Dental Veneers

Find answers to the most common questions about Invisalign.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

With good care, porcelain veneers typically last between ten and fifteen years, and in some cases considerably longer. Attending regular check-ups, maintaining excellent oral hygiene, and avoiding habits such as nail-biting or using your teeth as tools will all help extend the lifespan of your veneers.

Do veneers damage your natural teeth?

The preparation process involves removing a small amount of enamel from the front surface of each tooth. This is carefully controlled and minimised, but it does mean the procedure is not fully reversible. Your dentist will discuss this honestly during your consultation so you can make a fully informed decision.

Will my veneers look natural?

Our veneers are designed and colour-matched specifically for your smile, taking into account your facial features, skin tone, and personal preferences. Dental porcelain reflects light in a very similar way to natural enamel, making well-crafted veneers extremely difficult to distinguish from real teeth.

Can I whiten my teeth after getting veneers?

No — porcelain veneers do not respond to whitening gel. For this reason, if you are considering whitening alongside veneers, we recommend completing any whitening treatment first, so that your veneers can be matched to your new, brighter shade.

What if a veneer chips or comes off?

Porcelain veneers are durable, but if a veneer is chipped or becomes debonded, it can usually be replaced. Contact the practice as soon as possible and we will assess and resolve the issue. Unlike composite bonding, chipped porcelain veneers typically require replacement rather than repair.
