What if I haven't been to the dentist for years and I'm embarrassed about my teeth?
Please do not let embarrassment hold you back. Our team sees patients in this situation regularly and there is no judgement here — only a genuine desire to help. The sooner you come in, the sooner we can start looking after your dental health in a way that feels comfortable and manageable.
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Absolutely. You are very welcome to bring a trusted friend or family member for support. Having a familiar face nearby can make a real difference, and our team will be happy to accommodate them throughout your visit.
What sedation options are available for very anxious patients?
We offer sedation options for patients who need a greater level of support. Sedation allows you to remain relaxed and comfortable during treatment, with little or no memory of the procedure afterwards. This is discussed and planned in advance, with your safety and wellbeing as the priority throughout.
What if I feel panicked and need to stop during treatment?
We will agree a stop signal with you before treatment begins. If you use it, we will stop immediately — no questions asked, no pressure to carry on. Your comfort and sense of control always comes first.
What happens once I finish Invisalign treatment?
At the end of your treatment, you'll be fitted with custom retainers to help maintain your results. Teeth have a natural tendency to shift over time, so wearing your retainers as directed — initially more frequently, and then typically overnight long-term — is essential to preserving your new smile.
